Through a dialogue with engineers Samo Eržen from the Arctur company (Slovenia) and Marco Benedetto from Kelyon (Italy), we will discuss on whether artificial intelligence in medicine is the future or is already the present. This is the second webinar in a row within the AI4VET4AI project, that will be hosted by another project partner AFA.
How is AI currently being utilized in healthcare and what are the prospects in that field? What are the challenges and limitations of implementing AI technologies in healthcare settings? What applications are at disposal and how accessible will they be to the common people? What about the ethical aspect?
These are some of the questions that will be addressed during this dynamic online gathering with prominent speakers from the fields of bioengineering and computer science.
Samo Eržen is a Senior Research Engineer at Arctur, holding an MSc in Informatics from the University of Ljubljana. Specializing in Big Data Analytics and Machine Learning, Samo possesses extensive knowledge of AI applications across diverse solutions. His expertise extends to collaborating on numerous international R&D projects in industries such as eHealth and others, where the utilization of AI technologies is driving innovation and addressing complex challenges.
Ing. Marco Benedetto is a Solution Analyst at Kelyon, holds M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering and is currently an Executive PhD student specializing in Big Data Management. With six years of experience at Kelyon, possesses a strong background in requirements elicitation, artificial intelligence model training, and data analysis for Software as Medical Devices (SaMDs) and digital health solutions.
